New Year Resolutions are often cited as an example for short lived Phenomena..
On a serious note, if one is serious about a new year resolution let us say he/she wants to pick up a new good habit, it has to be approached differently.

Preparations should actually begin much earlier like let us say like the preparations for a marathon ..
