In Organisations, for each employee the manager assume two possible roles which defines the direction of movement of the employee.

MENTOR or TORMENTOR

when the manger is a MENTOR the employee moves up in the organisational ladder.

when the manager is TORMENTOR the employee moves out of the organisation
